Preface – History of the Spiritual
Israel Church
and Its Army and God’s Chosen people Israel
The Spiritual
Israel Church
and Its Army was incorporated as an ecclesiastical corporation in 1938 by
Bishop William D. Dixon. It was formerly known as the Israel of God Church in
David founded by Bishop Derks Fields. In our church many great men and women
have come forth to give us the message of the God of Israel in our time and
generation. In The Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army, the head official of
our church receives the title, King of All Israel, in accordance with I Kings
8:25 which reads: “Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant
David my father that thou promisedst him saying, There shall not fail thee a
man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed
to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me”. The
Kings of Israel over The Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army in our church
history have been:
Bishop William D. Dixon – 1938 to 1953
Archbishop Martin Tumpkin –1953 to 1972
Bishop Robert Haywood – 1972 to 2000
Bishop Jordan C. Wiley - 2000
to 2008
Today the King of All Israel is Bishop Bobby J. Davis.
Other great men and women in The Spiritual Israel Church and
Its Army in past time were Bishop George Coachman and Bishop A.J. Tumpkin, both
Overseers, which is second in command to the King of Israel, Bishop Bride
Mother Rose Alice Tumpkin, who was Superior Mother and first female Bishop of
the church, Bishop John E. Reed and Bishop Flemings, whom were Evangelist
Bishops. There were also many other men and women who sacrificed time, effort
and money to make The Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army what it is today.
In the beginning of The Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army
the man of God in each generation saw that it was important to awaken the
so-called Negro to who they really were. Black people as a whole were ignorant
of who they really were because they had been hoodwinked and bamboozled by
European gentile Christianity doctrine. The Kings of Israel and the disciples
they taught in this time and generation took to heart the task of enlightening
the so-called Negro to his true identity. Most black people were and many still
are ignorant to the fact that they are the children of Israel that they read about in the
Old Testament of the Bible. Many still do not recognize that they were cut off
from being a nation so that the name of Israel would be no more in remembrance
as stated in Psalm 83:4 and nicknamed to keep them ignorant of the knowledge of
their true identity. Many black people do not know that their true nationality
is Ethiopian as this is the environment that we originated from. In early
historical times the entire continent of Africa was called Ethiopia as Africa
is a name given to the continent by early Europeans who came to the continent
looking for slave labor in the 15th and 16th centuries.
The God of Israel chose the children of Israel to be a
special people unto himself, (Deut 7:6 and Isaiah 44:1) and he gave us a special
name to be recognized by and this name is Israel as we are to wear our Fathers’
name. Since the God of Israel is our Father he gave us his name and He requires
all that will truly believe in him to surname themselves spiritually with this
name. Isaiah 44:5 reads, “One shall say, I am the Lord’s; and another shall
call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand
unto the Lord and surname himself by the name of Israel.” This is the way today to become an Israelite.
Many people today prefer to be called Christians, but this is a man-made
name. All throughout biblical history
the God of Israel has always called his people the children of Israel.
.
When we lay claim to be the children of Israel it is not without merit. The
Scriptures, particularly the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy, tells
precisely and almost in chilling detail what would befall the children of Israel
for being disobedient to the commandments, ordinances and statues of the God of
Israel. The 68th verse is where the claim becomes undeniable. It
reads, “And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way
whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall
be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you”.
The descendants of the so-called Negroes of North, Central and South America
are the only people in the annals of history
to be carried off into captivity and into forced slave labor by the way
of ships. This prophecy was only given to the children of Israel forewarning them of their
plight if they failed to adhere to the commandments of the God of Israel. Since
this prophetic condition only fell on the descendants of the so-called Negroes
of North, Central, and South America, they, and only they can biblically claim
to be the children of Israel
for they and only they were the ones who lived in and through this prophecy. No
other people, regardless of heritage, can truthfully make this claim. This
truth informs all who are willing to accept it that the so-called Negroes are
the only true descendants of the children of Israel. Other scriptures relating
to this truth can be found in Joel 3:6, Nahum 3:10 and Acts 7:6.
This is the natural history of The Spiritual Israel Church
and Its Army and of God Chosen people Israel. This does not limit anyone;
regardless of race or natural origin from becoming Israel as all people have that
opportunity by following the scripture in Isaiah 44:5 as stated above. We
believe it is important to know the truth and this truth must be accepted by
all who desire to please the one true God, the God of Israel
